Besides, Immuno'Line™ provides a complementary approach based on in vitro immuno-enzymatic assays. We have established an outstanding collection of recombinant HLA-DR molecules that covers about 90% of the Caucasian population. We have developed automated immuno-enzymatic assays for testing the binding of peptides (stemming from the fragmentation of the therapeutical protein) with the HLA-DR molecules. With this technology, it is possible to rapidly focus on the part of the protein that could trigger an immune response and to determine the HLA molecules that contribute to the immunogenic response of the protein being tested.
